Well-known Swiss jewelry boutique, Shawish, is creating the worlds most extraordinary diamond ring, a ring made completely out of one faceted rough diamond that weights 150-carats!  That’s right, no metal, just diamond from top to bottom.  The ring was presented to the public at an event held at II Bottaccio in London where they will continue to showcase its development from start to finish.
 
The delicate molecular structures of diamonds have led the jewelers at Shawish to construct specific laser equipment in order to keep the ring unblemished. At the event, Shawish CEO, Mohammed Shawish commented on his reasons for constructing this masterpiece, “it seemed impossible, so we decided to embark on the adventure of creating it. To create the perfect diamond ring is the epitome of art”.
 
There is no shock when it comes to the price of this copyrighted item, the finished ring is expected to sell for $70.46 million and is set to make its public debut in December 2012.
